In a world full of distractions, let us continue to seek God's wisdom in our decisions, trusting that His guidance will always lead us to peace and fulfillment.

33rd Sunday of Ordinary Time ~ 17 November 2024 ~ Liturgy of the Word: I: Daniel12: 1-3; Responsorial: Psalm 16; II: Hebrews 10: 1-18; Gospel: Mark 13: 24-32
“In order to be an image of God, the spirit must turn to what is eternal, hold it in spirit, keep it in memory, and by loving it, embrace it in the will.” ~ St. Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein).
St. Benedicta of the Cross experienced in intense passion and sacrifice the signs of her times. It is in the wisdom she would share we come to this 33rd Sunday of Ordinary Time. As always, the Liturgy of the Word now calls us to focus on Christ our King and His promised return. Our lives are much like an Autumn path... It offers great beauty but also so much that is unknown. And, prayerfully, we should be grateful for the beauty and also mindful of pending storms, changes, and uncertainties that come with life. And as we listen to the Word of God this Sunday we should be especially aware of the signs of the times in regards to the return of Christ, our Savior and King.
